Ms. O’Neill has a BS in Art Education from Temple University, summa cum laude and honors program, and a MA in Art Therapy from New York University. She also has licensure to teach art education in schools. Charity received her ATR from the Art Therapy Credentials Board http://www.atcb.org/. She has worked as an art teacher and an art therapist in many settings such as a teen drug and alcohol rehab, home for at risk boys, inner city schools, and special education schools. Charity also spent time volunteering as an art therapist near ground zero immediately after 9-11. Ms. O'Neill was the Director of her own art studio, Art Spark Studio, for seven years before her family moved to The Netherlands. In her studio, Ms. O’Neill worked with young aspiring artists, who have now gone off to colleges at institutions like RISD. She also worked individually with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has spent many years studying trauma and its effects on children and adults, specializing in art therapy techniques to help those overcoming traumatic events. Charity has worked with younger children in a 0-5 program and presently works at Waypoint Academy.
Charity has a passion for travel (living in Italy and Greece when she was younger) and traveling over many parts of Europe, South America and Asia.
